Little Trout is a comfortable, self-contained annex to the owners’ seventeenth-century thatched cottage in the picturesque village of Nether Wallop, near to the pretty market town of Stockbridge, with several popular pubs, cafes and restaurants.
It has a spacious living room, fully-equipped kitchen/diner, utility room, bathroom, and double bedroom and is the perfect bolthole for your stay in a beautiful countryside setting.
The kitchen proudly boasts a brand new cream AGA 60, which seamlessly fits into the well equipped kitchen and perfect for both AGA experts and novices alike. If you need a little AGA advice then you have come to the right place as Sarah, the cottage owner, is a well-known AGA demonstrator and author, teaching AGA owners how to get the very best out of their range cookers. See Sarah Whitaker for details.
The village of Nether Wallop is in the ideal location for trout fishing on the River Test and other nearby local attractions include Stonehenge, Highclere Castle and Beaulieu National Motor Museum, Mottisfont Abbey with the National Rose Collection, and Danebury Iron Age Hill Fort. The splendid cathedral cities of Winchester and Salisbury are nearby too.
